Brew Day! German Ale!

With Nottingham Yeast!

Decided to do a transitional brew and finish up Pils malt. Also have fresh picked hops…
9.5-10 lbs Avangard pils malt
3/4 oz Willamette and Hallertau fresh hops
1 oz Tettnanger hops all for mash

Single decoction step mash.
11.2 plato pre boil gravity

35 IBU german magnum 90 min boil
 
13.4 plato OG
 
1 oz Tettnanger at bottling time
