TGMBA is back! Had wanted to get a couple nice crispy Weissbiers going a few weeks back but oh well. Have not done one in a couple of years.
5 lbs German Malted Wheat
5 Lbs Avangard Pils
1 oz Spalt (mash)
single decoction with a protein mash in at 120 f, stepped to 150 then to 158, with a decoction at the end.
90 min boil with 15 IBU german magnum as bittering hops, 15.2 alpha.
13.8 pre-boil, but water added because we did not want a bock!
