This should be interesting.

6 lbs Avangard pils malt
5 lbs German wheat malt
1/2 lb black patent malt
1/2 lb chocolate malt
~ 2 lbs raspberries/ wine berries

Mashed in at 120 F and raised into 150’s mashed out at 168F no decoction

15 IBU German Magnum hops 90 min boil

White labs 380 german weissbier yeast from previous batch

Since we still have Pilsener malt, another German wheat is in order

5 lbs Avangard pils malt
5 lbs German wheat malt
1 oz Tettnanger hops (mash)

Doing a single decoction with a step mash, and re-using the white labs 380 yeast

20 IBU german magnum 15.2 alpha

11 plato pre-boil

12.8 og

TGMBA is back! Had wanted to get a couple nice crispy Weissbiers going a few weeks back but oh well. Have not done one in a couple of years.

5 lbs German Malted Wheat
5 Lbs Avangard Pils
1 oz Spalt (mash)

single decoction with a protein mash in at 120 f, stepped to 150 then to 158, with a decoction at the end.

90 min boil with 15 IBU german magnum as bittering hops, 15.2 alpha.

13.8 pre-boil, but water added because we did not want a bock!

13.8 OG see above
