Time for another, and this batch will once again use Jenny Jump Spring water.

11 lbs TF Maris Otter
1 oz Fuggles (Mash)
1 oz East Kent Goldings (Mash)

35 IBU Target hops 90 min boil

1 whirlfloc tablet 15 minutes left in boil

Mash in at 120 F as a dough in and hold 15 mins raise to 130 F and hold for 15 mins raise to 140 F hold for 15 misn Raise to 150 F hold 30 mins raise to 155 F hold for 15 mins raise to 160 F hold for 10 Mins mash out at 170 F

Re used English Ale yeast from White Labs

OG 15.2 Plato! Woot!

1/2 oz of Roger’s Willhamette hops at bottling

For a twist, we have 10 gallons of Jenny Jump spring water that I collected from the foot of Jenny Jump mountain. Not doing anything to the water and let us see what we get!

11 lbs 7 oz TF Maris Otter
6 oz Chocolate Malt
1 lb 3 oz roasted barley
2 oz East Kent Goldings (Mash)

Mashed in at 135F and held 30 mins then upped to 1402 F hand held 20 mins Then up 105F and held for 30 mins then to 157F and held for 20 mins then to mash out at 169F

40 IBU Target 11 AA 90 mins

19.4 plato OG WhooooooHoooo!

Repitch english ale yeast from Soriachi ace IPA which is awesome!

1/2 oz roger’s Willhamette hops at bottling

This one will have the highest hop oil content hop, Soriachi Ace! With a 2.8-3.2% range I wanted to see what this would do to this IPA

12 lbs TF Maris Otter
3 oz Soriachi Ace hops in mash

Mashed in at ~ 130F (dough in) held 15 mins raised to ~ 150F and held 30 mins raised to 156F and held 15 mins mashed out 170F

1 whirlfloc tablet 15 mins

60 IBU Target 90 mins 11% AA

re-pitch English Ale yeast

14.5 Plato Pre Boil
OG 16.5 Plato

1 oz Soriachi Ace hops at bottle time

Another brew for Stout Wars. Have not made a lighter stout in quite a while.

8 lbs Thomas Fawcett Maris Otter
1 lb Flaked Barley
1 lb Roasted Barley
1 oz East Kent Goldings (Mash)

Dough in 122F hold for 15 mins raise to 145 hold for 30 min raise to 152 hold for 30 min raise to 155 hold for 15 min mash out 170F

30 IBU Target 11 AA for 90 mins

1 whirlfloc tablet for 15 mins

10.5 plato pre boil

13.5 plato OG

Pitch White Labs English Ale yeast 002 from starter
